Most questions come down to timing, setup, and how everything flows on the day. Here are a few of the key details to help you plan with confidence.

Do you provide event services throughout Vancouver Island?

Yes.

We proudly serve Greater Victoria, the Cowichan Valley, Nanaimo and Oceanside, the Comox Valley, Campbell River and North Island, the West Coast and Alberni Valley, and the Gulf Islands. Service is also available on the Sunshine Coast by request.

Availability and travel requirements vary depending on the event location, schedule, and transportation involved.

Are there additional travel fees for some regions?

Travel within 150 kilometres each way from Nanaimo is generally included.

Additional fees may apply for remote communities, ferry travel, extended driving distances, overnight accommodation, or locations that require additional travel time.

Any applicable costs will be clearly outlined in your proposal before booking.

How do ferry schedules affect events on the Gulf Islands or Sunshine Coast?

Events requiring ferry travel need additional planning around sailing schedules, vehicle reservations, loading times, and the availability of return sailings after the event.

Depending on the location and event schedule, an overnight stay may be required to avoid relying on an unavailable or impractical late-night ferry.

Can weather or road conditions affect service?

Severe weather, road closures, ferry cancellations, or unsafe driving conditions can affect travel to some locations.

Mountain routes such as the Malahat and Highway 4 between Nanaimo and Port Alberni can experience snow, ice, heavy rain, and traffic delays during the winter.

We plan additional travel time where appropriate and monitor road, ferry, and weather conditions before travelling.

Are winter tires required when travelling to some Vancouver Island regions?

Yes.

Winter tires are required on designated British Columbia highways during the posted winter-driving season, including routes such as the Malahat. Depending on the highway, these requirements generally apply from October 1 until March 31 or April 30.

We use appropriately equipped vehicles and consider seasonal road conditions when planning travel for winter events.
